although id love to give pnoles the honor of making the first post (due to his excellent jay mariotti article which inspired the creation of this blog in the first place) im just too giddy about registering to not make it myself.

since im brand new to this, i wont even start out with an article, ill just get some general ranting that needs to be done out of my system in bullet point format:

-bill simmons, stop writing about the celtics. no one cares.

-woody paige, please tell me how you got your job as a sports analyst. clearly if they let you do it, theyd let anyone do it, and i would go pretty far to get a job as a sportswriter.

-joe buck: you are not clever.

-mel kiper jr., your hair looks like a plastic piece designed to be used on a giant lego(tm)man.

ok, i know thats not very deep or thoughtful, i just needed to get it off my chest before i start taking this (relatively more) seriously.
