Much As I Hate The Patriots,

This is one of the best articles I've read recently. Almost makes me okay with the idea of a New England victory a week from tomorrow. Almost.

I saw the combined records of the Dolphins opponents that season several years ago and I'm surprised it never (or rarely) gets brought up when discussing them. They beat who they played, you can't fault them for that, but you have to consider a .333 opponents winning percentage in when you discuss not losing.

I have always hated the fact that we have really only 1 undefeated team in NFL history, and the fact that the team that did it is a bunch of insufferable douches.

I am a longtime Raider fan, but I hate the 1972 Dolphins so much, that in 1998 I rooted for the hated Broncos (sorry Larry) to go undefeated just to shut the Dolphins up.

But I hate the Patriots even more than I did the Broncos, so I can NOT root for them, I have to root for the Giants and let the Dolphins have at least one more year of douchery.

Yes, the tuck rule sucked. anytime a ball is hit out of a QBs hand, it is a fumble, not sure the reason the rule was written was meant to include what happened on that play. Alas, that was the beginning of hating the Patriots more than any other team in sports history. But, hey I am not still bitter....
