This is almost certainly the lamest introduction to an article about sports I've ever seen

Peter Schrager

"I Will Possess Your Heart," the first single on popular emo rock band Death Cab for Cutie's latest release, features a five-minute instrumental intro. Though the chorus and subsequent verses are the parts of the song that will likely get stuck in your head, it's the intro that really makes the song click. The building of tension, the rising of the beat, the clash of instruments without any words — it sets the perfect tone for what's on the horizon: a truly magical song."I Will Possess Your Heart," the first single on popular emo rock band Death Cab for Cutie's latest release, features a five-minute instrumental intro. The early summer months are the NFL season's equivalent to the five-minute instrumental intro. Now — not in early September or late December —is when the tension builds and captivating storylines emerge. Now is when the hype and excitement surrounding the 2008 campaign truly begins

Seriously......Is he trying to impress a chick with this column? Or what? Anyone?

Good God........that's such vomit.

Also, Death Cab for Cutie is a terrible band built on depression-craving hormonal teenagers. Their music is just awful.

I might have been into this if he picked a good band or something at least.....

Is this for real? The intro is gone on the Fox Sports website.

If not, you are truly peotic Chris W. Though repetitive.

I wonder if the wine bar he frequents has NFL Sunday ticket in HD?

I wish I could take credit for that. However, Schrager must have realized the error of his emo ways.

This link should suggest, if not prove, that I'm not trying to slander Schrager's good name:
