Another Reason to Root for the Cavs

Just in case you weren't already. This dude's going to BET HIS JOB ON THE SPURS WINNING! Not that he'll actually quit if they lose...but still.

I think it's pretty self-explanatory why this article sucks...just ask the 2004 Red Sox. But this bears mentioning:

James picked up his second foul less than five minutes in, came out of the game and before you knew it, the Spurs led 16-6. It was over.

You can't beat the Spurs in San Antonio without your full arsenal, and anyone that anticipated Daniel Gibson or Zydrunas Ilgauskas leading a comeback with James sitting on the bench was delusional.

Now I'm not, like, the biggest Mike Brown fan...but let's look at some things from this passage. I'll bold the relevant parts this time.

Let's paraphrase: "Mike Brown was crazy to think his less talented players could lead a comeback against the Spurs LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES INTO THE GAME."

He's 100% right actually...because anyone who thinks anyone is leading a comeback FIVE MINUTES INTO THE GAME is insane.

Not that he's not right in principle, he's just being a huge asshole about it...kind of like those douchebags who said there was no way the Bears could beat the Saints in the NFC championship, as if the game didn't even need to be played.

i dont know if you just forgot to bold the relevant parts the second time you listed the quote, or intentionally didnt do that because none of it is relevant. either way, good find.
