Tim Hasselbeck on SportsCenter discussing the Eagles' game plan this weekend while playing against the Saints' productive offense:
"They're not going to be able to match the Saints point-for-point"
So... they have no chance of victory?
A blog dedicated to venting frustration about dumb members of the sports media via angry commentary. No, we're not the first guys to do this kind of thing. Still, Jay Mariotti and several other prominent members of the national sports media need to lose their jobs. We want to facilitate that process any way we can. Feel free to direct any pressing questions or comments to any or all of us at firejaymariotti@gmail.com.

Looks like Tim has found a network where he truly belongs.
It looks like Elizabeth sucked out what was left of his brain.
BTW; The Saints scored 45 points... against the Lions. They also allowed 28... against the Lions. The Eagles whupped a 12-4 playoff team that returned almost all of its starters.
I do think the Saints are going to win the NFC South this year, but thanks for pointing out some logic there. The Saints gave up 28 points to the Lions...I don't think that defense is fixed quite yet.
clearly he meant "they won't be able to match the saint's offense point for point if they don't play strong defense, and therefore they will have to play strong defense"
But that would make too much sense, no? Better just say it in some trite, cliched fashion that sounds more important than it actually is. "They'll never match the saints point for point playing football in this football game"
