Some of You May Already Have Seen This, But I Didn't Make The Label For No Reason!
I believe this speaks for itself.
A blog dedicated to venting frustration about dumb members of the sports media via angry commentary. No, we're not the first guys to do this kind of thing. Still, Jay Mariotti and several other prominent members of the national sports media need to lose their jobs. We want to facilitate that process any way we can. Feel free to direct any pressing questions or comments to any or all of us at firejaymariotti@gmail.com.

Stay classy, Chicago!
To be fair, this happens in every city.
As a Phillies fan I won't stereotype all Chicago fans, but I have to wonder how far the media would have beaten this into the ground had it been a Phillies fan throwing a beer at Milton Bradley.
The fun of that would have been watching Bradley go completely bat shit insane and suffer an aneurysm on the field.
Milton Bradley wouldn't have stayed on the field. He would have gone Ron Artest on the dude. Either that, or pulled an Albert Belle and chucked the ball into the stands at the guy.
Plus, for all we know, the fan was just trying to prepare Victorino for the (possible) Division clinching, NLDS, NLCS, and WS celebrations that he'll be covered in beer for.
Andy:
Fuck Albert Belle, Rob Dibble was the originator of that move.

Sorry, I grew up in NE Ohio, so I just remember the big media fuss over everything that guy did. We Tribe fans always stuck up for him, then after he left, most of us piled on with the hatin'
I remember hearing that they actually kicked out the wrong guy.....
The irony is, in his mind, this guy was trying to help his team.
Don't worry, the beer throwing fan will reappear in about 12 years after he makes a catchy slogan about how the Cubs will win the World Series in 2021. http://out-of-rightfield.blogspot.com/2007/07/blog-post.html
It's my inner small-town hick rearing its head, but I think that's absolutely awesome.
