I didn't beat everybody to the punch with this video, but I assure you that I have better technology than recording my TV with my camera and then putting it on YouTube.
Rick DiPietro gives us another great moment in 'Why Did You Leave His Microphone On?' history...
Nothing would be better for me than a DBag with a 15 year contract seriously injuring himself in an All Star exhibition.
ReplyDeleteI love it, this clown who commented talks about Ricky's contract. Lemme guess, you're a rags fan. I bet you'd love to have the queen locked up for the next 13 years. Jealously huh? And I don't think this qualifies as a 'serious injury'. He's fine. Have fun watching your Blueskirts underachieve with their way overpaid roster. I really enjoy watching them do that year after year!!
ReplyDeleteHockey fight!
ReplyDeleteCredit to Jarrett for the blog's first embedded video.
andrew - It would be fitting, really. You get paid all that money to play real games, then you pull something in the one exhibition game that's televised.
ReplyDeletejay - C'mon. 15 years? I love my TiVo but I would never want to be stuck with it for 15 years. But I have to agree, the Rangers are paid way too much to lose.
larry - It was my pleasure - nay, my duty - to upload a video with accidental cursing in it.
jay - it's kind of funny hearing you talk about the Rangers overpaying to underacheive... How much did the Isles buy out Yashin for again? I sometimes forget.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. Instead of talking about pretty Ricky's contract, I'll talk about the fact that he's been at best a league average goaltender in GAA and SV% in 4 of his 5 years in the NHL... Totally the goalie I'd want to watch the next 13 years. Yay for mediocrity!
Also, please remind me of what I'm jealous of? Is it those Islander cups that came 25 years ago? Or is it the fact that they've made it past the first round of the playoffs once since 1987?
My Brother and I are now tied for "Fantasy Players dropping F-bombs on live TV." I have Ricky, and he has Jonathan
