This isn't about a member of the sports media, and I apologize for the seeming irrelevance, but I've just never been more confused and shocked in my life. Some guy behind me at the A's/White Sox game last night offered up this little side commentary (talking loudly the entire game, I might add)
(David Aardsma is pitching)
"This Aardsma guy, he's been having problems lately. If he has one more bad outing like the ones against the Cubs over the weekend, he'll be going straight to Triple-A"
OK....so this guy knows things about the White Sox and their series against the Cubs. The Triple-A thing is pure exaggeration, but the point is, he seems to follow the team, and more importantly for the purposes of this next part, is familiar with playing games against the Cubs.
(Pablo Ozuna has made 2 awful defensive plays in the field at 3B recently in the game, then fields an easy one right before this comment)
"Now, I like this Ozuna guy a lot better in the infield than in the outfield. Kinda like that guy....Soro....Sorano.....ah how do you pronounce it.....he's with Washington or something. Used to be a second baseman. Now they've got him playing the outfield."
