If a team scores a TD with zero seconds left on the clock in regulation, the team may need the extra point to tie or win the game (say the score was 23-17 before the TD). I think it makes more sense to kick the PAT in every situation for a consistent rule set instead of only kicking it dependent on the score.

The extra point doesn't need to be kicked in overtime because the game is indisputably over. There's no scenario where the offensive team can win or tie by kicking the extra point (because they already have the lead) nor can the defense score on the extra point attempt.ZidaneValornoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6300012139741038635.post-75129169228849715822012-11-30T18:10:22.343-08:002012-11-30T18:10:22.343-08:00I too have always kind of liked Clayton. Well, great job on the first two thirds which is as far as I got before I dozed off. I just started on Twitter and I now can only go about 140 characters before I get a stitch in my side. I'm sure the rest of the autopsy was awesome also.
Twit of the Yearnoreply@blogger.com
